Just wanted to let everybody know ... I have been using two tanneries this year. My shop is small in size but I have gotten my fair share of whitetails in this year. I was looking for a tannery to do the fleshing and turning of the ears too. I was told about Brian McDonald from Wildlife Creations in Alabama and another tannery ( Who I choose not to name) . I send capes to each tannery. Needless to say, the capes that came back from Wildlife Creations were some of the nicest work I have seen. They come back , Ready to mount. There is little if no repair needed.I can't praise the work of Wildlife Creations enough! Their prices are fair and the product is fantastic!. I will be solely using Wildlife Creations for all my tanning next year. As for the other tannery ...... No Comment!

why give someone else your work, there are very few true taxidermists out there.
Woodchick, glad you had some success with them! (I think I may have been the one to reccommend them to you). I have been pleased with everything I've sent, as well.
Here it is .... My shop is 12x16 and I have a computer desk,work bench,supply cabinet,and drying table so My actual walking room is 6x9. I have done my own work.. and I have had some problems with room. so I figured , that if I raised my prices to accomidate for the extra expense, I would do just fine. Guess what it worked! I have found a wonderful tannery ( oh by the way Wildlife Creations is a taxidermist too!) and I have gotten more business than ever.And, people actually smile and thank me when they give me the deposit and even better, they are very happy when they pick up their mounts!. So, if I'm not being a true taxidermist, maybe I am being a business woman. thanks and good luck . woodchick
