Just tanned a deer hide. How do I get another one w/o waiting until hunting season re-opens? Does the DNR keep any around? Not interested in purchasing any. It's not that urgent!

Usually the DNR will let you have it if you call them and get a tag, the deer is yours. Make sure you get the tag, or permission to pick it up first from them. Worked for me in Wisconsin.
