washing

I tanned a coon hide and washed it during the process. Now it has an oily feel(from the softening oil) on the hairs. What can I do to fix this? Can it be washed with soap after it has been completly thru the Lu-tan F process?

Pert Shampoo

Yes as long as it's properly tanned wash it with pert shampoo. I'll do it twice and then rinse two or three times. From there place it in the clothes dryer with plenty of towels, set on cool and tumble for 15-20 minuntes. Take out and mount.
