Autotanner Oil

Does anyone use the chammy oil that Taxidermy Arts Supply sells for the autotanner? Do you use it along with their regular tanning oil? If so, what kind of recipe do you use and can you see any differences?
Thanks

Tannig oil

KS, I use Proplus oil from Rittels. It works better for me. I use the regular tannig crystals and get little or no shrinkage on my capes and lifesize. I did not have good luck with the oil sold for use in the machine nor do I add it while tanning I swab on the capes after tannig process. Good luck, Mark

I use the original crystals for pre tan

and the Arrowhead for the finish tan. I have had no problem with the newer Oil that Steve is now selling for mounting purposes but to follow through to a "dry tanned" hide I do like Knoblochs #1 tanning oil, brushed on after tanning and hung to dry before tumbling, and then reoiled, 85% dried and tumbled again. Whereas for mounting I put the oil right in the tanner with the crystals and tumble the skin after, then mount or freeze.
