i was reading through the archives on slippage and foxes because ive been having problems. i came across a post that said to soak them in denatured alcohol 30 minutes and that took care of the problem. does anyone here use this method and if so at what step in the tanning process is it done. i use liqua tan. skin, flesh, turn n split, salt, resalt, dry, rehydrate, pickle, shave, pickle again, neutralize, rinse, and apply tan. thanks bill

That's a step that's usually done with DP. Tanning steps include a PICKLE which locks the hair in. You're mixing apples and oranges.
