Just wodering if anyone has come up with a solution for keeping shavings from getting sandwiched between the belt and the pullies on a Dakota 4 fleshing machine. It is a quite running machine until you get a couple of pieces of shavings stuck to the pulley then the vibrations and the noise build until you dissasemble the thing and clean out the crap. Just another reason I am not so found of this machine. Any good solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Try this though...take an old tire innertube and make a chute or sleeve that goes from the bottom of the flesher down past everything. You can then stick an old bucket underneath to catch the shavings.
You've kept me out of trouble one more time. LMAO
......Buy a Quebeck. Never had the problem!
Get a piece of aluminum flashing material, shape it into a "U" shape the size of your debris hole. Cut the bends an inch or so, and bend 90degees out so to have a place for screws to fasten it to the bottom of the table. By the way, I own a Quebec myself and love it.
