For me to use to do a squirrl(pardon the spelling).I really want a tan that is soft and durable.
i Need it kinda simple and i am operating on a limited budget.

What are you going to use the squirrel skin for? Are you going to mount it,hang the skin on the wall,etc?

BEN,
If you are mounting the squirrel, then dry preservative is fast & easy for small, thin-skinned mammals. Another option that is just as easy ,yet a little better, is James Edgar's 1 hr mammal tan, available at McKenzie. It is not really necessary to go through an extensive & involved tanning process(such as Lutan F) for such a small animal.Hope this helps.
