Fleshing Machine for Beaver

Submitted by Steve on 03/27/2003. ( ) 216.129.231.4

I hope to start trapping beaver this week, as soon as the ice goes out. My budget says I can only afford a Dakota flesher. Which would work best for beaver? (the Dakota 1V or the bigger Dakota V). I also do about ten deer heads a year. I've been using the Mini-flesher on them, but hope to upgrade. Thanks for your input.....Steve

Steve, go with the Dakota V,that way you'll be prepared for any fleshing task-I own both machines-there both good machines, but guess which ones faster for fleshing a whitetail?!

before anyone gets carried away!

I was comparing both the Dakota IV and the Dakota V, not the Quebec-lite-sorry Gerry ,didn't mean to sound like I was downing you're product.
