Really?!?

I repeatedly called the number several months ago when I received some literature in the mail. No one EVER answered the calls...no machine, voice mail, no nothing, at all times of the day. Two price lists included in the packet had wildly different pricing with no explanation for either price list (maybe one for new customers, or limited time offer, etc.?).
Sorry, you had your shot...tanneries are a pain in the ass to deal with anyway, but when you're worse than the rest from day one, you don't have a chance.

1st Mr. AZTaxidermist and Stauling.

Where is your email. Chicken crap. I have never done any work for either of you. I am new. I remember any asshole.

2nd- You have never seen my work. I have gotten things to fix from
other tanneries and did a good job.

3rd - If you know so much about my work, list the person and phone number that you saw my work at their shop. I would love to talk to them.

4th - You guys have talked in circles with nothing to back it up.
5th - I always answer my phone(or my staff) and I am always at my shop working my butt off. I have an answering machine, I forward my phone calls.

6th - I know who you guys are. You two are always the ones that get on the site, create animosity (look it up in the dictionary) never leave your email address and are probably the kind of guy who's wife always has a headache. Look in the mirror. There are more important things going on today than your postings.
I dare you to post your name and email address.

Methinks he doth protest too much!

Mr. Harelip,

Apparently you have nothing more important going on today. It is now more obvious than ever what level of professionalism your sure-to-be-few customers can expect from you. I wonder how you would respond to a complaint about a cape returned to a customer with an ear blown out or holes from your fleshers?

You are correct that you have never done any work for me...and never will. If I seem to be talking in circles, perhaps it's because you are constantly looking over your shoulder. If you think I am making this up I will happily return the packet you sent to me, complete with both price lists-I certainly don't need it.

Luckily we all know who you are now before we made the mistake of becoming one of your pissed-off customers.

You still can't leave your name. I have emailed the forum administrator in reference to this matter. We all have our codes posted with each message. You only need to speak for yourself and
not include people whom you don't know in your posting. You are only speaking of one item. The brochure. Which was mailed out at the same time I lowered my prices on the internet. I just want to know who you are so that I don't waste a good stamp on you. Anyone who questions the prices are given the answer that the lower price rules. You must be the taxidermist that I have heard about that is doing dry tanning at a really cheap price and then in a couple of months the client finds out about all the shrinkage. Most of the taxidermist in Phoenix know about you. I am a taxidermist and I am a tanner. Taxidermy is the fun part and the tanning is the tough job that most people don't want to do. I feel for all tanners, because they go through what I go through. It must be perfect to avoid any negative feedback. Unlike taxidermy, which a little paint can cover errors. But you are in complete error.
Tanneries are not a pain in the ass. They are the group of people working the hardest for the profession.
And, since you think you know so much about me, it is not Mr. Hairlip
It's Miss.

Hmmmm...a change in tone.

This response submitted by AZTaxidermist on 04/09/2003. ( ) 152.163.188.198

Miss Harelip,

No more jerks and assholes?

Of course I am speaking for myself, but I speak to many other taxidermists and if there is one constant it is that dealing with tanneries is a pain in the ass. You claim to be a taxidermist, yet this fact seems to have been lost on you. I must then assume that you got into the tanning business to boost your self esteem by associating yourself with such a noble class of people.

I am also speaking for myself when I state that I attempted to contact you during normal business hours on no less than four occasions and let the phone ring in excess of ten rings with NO ANSWER. When I receive two completely different price lists in one envelope with no explanation(I never visited your website), and am unable to contact you for clarification, I can only assume that your work would be approached with the same lack of professionalism. Calling prospective customers "jerks" and "assholes" only proves the point.

I don't claim to know anything about you other than what I've already stated, and that is all I need to know. Don't presume to know who I am or what the quality of my work is.

Just when we started having fun...

This was just getting good and you quit?

I guess sysop wouldn't pull your tit out of the ringer and now you just quit and go home?

A little healthy exchange is good for you.
