Has anyone used the dry-preservative from [a supply company] Co. If so, how did you like it on mammal mounts? How did you go about using it? Thanks!

That the company you are referring to is not a company you want to do business with. They have had some very bad business practices in the past and a lot of people, including myself, have more or less boycotted using them. As for using DP I do not use it, I have all my items tanned out of shop, but I believe the way of using them is just to rub it in the hide getting all areas covered. Gluing could be a problem and the preserving quality I believe is not there. There are other companies that carry DP, I'd suggest using one of them. Hope this helps. John

Van Dykes' instant preserve is the best,have been using it for 25+ years.give it a try you won't be dissapointed.
