After soaking my squirrel in an EZ Tan solution it's flesh side was red and I figured it was normal since I never done this before. Then I oiled the skins and they are still red. What did I do wrong? I think I did everything right from salting right up to the tanning solution.

When EZ-100 is exposed to iron - it first turns pink, then red, then purple, then deep purple-black! Did you use a metal container? Or was there a chance some metal fell into the solution?
