Is there a good adhesive that can be bought local? This is for a rug with a felt backing. I tried Elmers spray adhesive(is supposed to adhere to fabric and leather) but it doesn't hold worth a d---.

Thanks

Try the 3M spray adhesives in the black cans. I don't recall the exact number but of the 3 available, you want the most expensive one for your rugging. Spray both pieces, let set for a few minutes and then make SURE you have it where you want it. (And BTW, I know you didn't ask it and may not NEED it, but for the newbies here, the spray adhesive is for TEMPORARY HOLD. All rugs need to be hemmed and tack stitched ever 6 inches or so in order for the quilt ticking to stay in place between the skin and the felt cover.

As George said, use 3M products,(available at Lowes or Home Depot)Several applications are available so read data on cans.Good luck.P.S. You cant go wrong with 3M adhesives!
