I have been trying to dye deerskins with quebrcho. the skins aretanned in EZ-tan. When they're wet they're a dark brown but when they dry, they turn pink. I have tried different concentrations of extract, different dyeing times and dyeing the skins both before and after tanning. They still turn pink when dry. I've followed instruction from Bruce Rittel and Van Dykes.
