I am a taxedermist and need help with a customer problem. She has a hand made white elk leather Indian dress that was damaged slightly by smoke from a fireplace. Is there any way to remove the sooty stains without damaging the leather? I could really use the help on this one! Thanks for any and all responses. Randy

You dont need to take this one on. I have a leather jacket made from a Wild Boar I shoot in Europe. I take it to a cleaners they send it of and its cleaned by people that clean Suade.
