Does a bobcat have to be salted for 24 or more hours? Can it be salted in less time. Temp is around 60 degrees with no humidity. I am using the safetee-Acid/liqua tan method.

Why are you trying to rush proven methods. If it could be rushed and we would have nothing to worry about like slippage etc,we would all rush things and tanneries would have our skins back over night.
Honestly follow the proven methods that have worked for millions, salt for 24 hrs, shake off and resalt. Dry rock hard and then proceed with rehydrating, pickle for three days, shave, repickle for one more, neturlize and then tan it. Take your time and enjoy the rewards when things aren't rushed. It took the man above 6 days to make this place and one to sit back and enjoy what he created. Our problem is we can't wait to make it in six so lets do it in one and to think we ponder why things are the way they are in this world today. Stop rushing and enjoy it.
Now I know the weather is getting warm so try and find a cool dry, somewhat dark place for this and if needed place a fan nearby to help it dry out faster.
I was thinking about that last night. Why rush it? So I decided to wait. I get a bit----ok alot over excited and want to get going. But instead I decided to follow the direction to a T. It does feel better when you know you are following the directions correctly and things are going good. Your comment made a lot of sense. Thank you.
