I have stretch after pickle and neut. but after painting on tan the
capes lose there stretch.The capes are shaved thin and even.Why does
this happen and what can i do to cure this problem? thanks chris

What kind of tan are you using? Did you oil the capes, and tumble them in hardwood sawdust to break them? Need more information.

Some tanning methods seem to cause shrinkage and loss of stretch. What did you use?
