I'm looking for a beginners tanning kit that will produce a half decent tan on greasy critters such as bears, coons, and beavers. Is the rittle's eztan100 what I want?

But you will also need a degreaser if the kit doesn't come with one. Bruce has some great degreasers for bear and other greasy animals.
Follow the instructions to the T and your bear will come out great.
On another note I do all my tanning at home, been doing it for years. When it comes to doing a bear and dealing with the amount of grease removal I rather send it to the tannery. Their better equipped to do that work. They have the proper vats for that crap work and since your a beginner I would rather suggest you go that route on the bear. Sure you can do it at home and many do and they produce a good tan. So if you want go for it and as for any other animal their easier to degrease.
