Help, I just got my Brown bear rug back from the taxidermist, and noticed that some of the hair around the neck is really loose and is slipping. Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks any advise would be appreciated, I know that the hide was properly taken care(fleshed & salted) of prior to sending to taxidermist.

Don't full with it anymore than you have to. Put a fan near it.
You need to call your Taxidermist right away! It don't sound like it was properly tanned or it was re-hydrated to long or not dried long enough before you got it.
Does it smell like mildew around the neck?
