This is my question. Will a fleshing machine remove all the flesh and membrane from a green hide. I'm saying a hide that is still twitching fresh. Not one that is pickled/salted etc etc. Im saying straight off carcus, will the fleshing machine strip everything away from the hide? thanks

But it takes a sharpe knife and it will take it all off. I do it ever deer season flesh and just about shave them when they come in.

I agree with Frank.

I flesh every deer cape totally green. Makes pickling just a few minutes to about one hour. Cuts my Auto-Tanner time to about 20 minutes. Have tried several methods on pickling and tanning on shaved green deer capes, all work faster and better.

With practice you can shave a totally green deer-cape in about 30 minutes, yes I even shave the face while green.

THANK YOU
