I just recieved my fleshing machine today. I was going to mount it on my workbench. I started to think maybe you all would have some advice about a fleshing table?
How large? High? Coke holders? Someone to do work for you? etc etc Top covered with plexiglass for easier cleaning etc? I know my workbench will work just fine but I started thinking there might be a few tricks to make this area a little more comfortable. Thanks

I built a frame of 2x4 lumber and attached two 4 inch lawn mower wheels to the front legs. This allows me to move it out of the way for cleanup and storage. I used 3/4 plywood for the top and covered it with formica which makes it easy to clean and any moisture from the skins will not affect it. Size of the top is 36 x 30. It is a little small for elk and moose capes but I don't have a lot of room in my shop. I also built this high enough to stand up and work at or I sometimes use a tall stool to sit on. Hope this gives you some ideas.
I took an old bathroom cabinet and put a layer of scrap furmica countertop on it. Lockable casters for moving around the shop. The motor takes up one cabinet and the other is used for supplies.I hard wired 2 convenience outlets to the side for power and accesories, also an adjustable clamp light for better lighting . Im thinkin I could get a beer holder on there to but that might be a little much!
