Features of Capemaster v/s Eager Beaver

I'm trying to find someone who has used or is familiar with both the Capemaster and Eager Beaver who could give a brief side-buy-side comparison of the features each of these machines have. I couldn't find much specific information in the archives.

Hey Geoffory,
I don't know if Capemaster has a video or not, but you can get a video on the Eager Beaver from Rittel's Tanning Supply. The one on the Eager Beaver is about $12.95, and is well worth the money. You can see up close how the adjustments work, and how well constructed the machine is. Mr. Rittel shows how to flesh a green hide and how to thin a tanned hide, each job took about 20 minutes. If Capemaster has a video, get it and compare. I understand they are both good machines, but watching the video on the Eager Beaver was all I needed to see. Needless to say, I have one on order right now.

Eager Beaver

I don't knopw anything about cape master, But I have had an Eager Beaver for 18 years. Being a very busy part time taxidermist and a trapper I have used my eager beaver allot. Over 18 years I have only had one small problem about 3 months ago, a small brass fitting broke and I simply brazed it back together. 18 years of flesh, salt, acid, dirt and abuse and still going strong. If my Eager Beaver finally dies I will surely buy another one just like it.
