this is my frist snake tan. after it is taned and I oil it do I have to stretch it out , or can I just hang it from one end to dry. are will it knot up.........John

After it has dried abd been oliled, and the oil has been sucked up and the skin dry again, you do not have to stretch it out. It will be fine in this state

what is the differant methods for tanning/curing a snake skin?
and keep it pliable?
what kind of oil? what other Chemicles? have been told Alchol and Glycerine after being rubbed down with salt....
is there better methods? and where can you get the stuff?
i am asking for my son for a project he is doing.
