I am thinking of trying the tanning thing(used DP up til now)and I am interested in using your products(ez 100 and Safetee acid). One supply house has a warning not to use your product if you use well water. As you guessed, I am on a well. My well is 740' deep and is good enough to bottle and sell. should I be concerned? Should I get tested to make sure its below limits in iron and lime or something else?
How can I get Your instructions on the whole process if I choose to buy the individual components vs the kit(I understand that the kit has the instructions)? can you email them to me?
thanks

Many time well water although very pure can have a odd pH.
Its easy to use just adjust the pH to neutral 7.2 by either adding acid or sodium bicarb.
You will need to keep a close check on the pH to make sure it does not climb up when adding hides.
Frank, enter the above search term, after you have clicked on the orange button. That should help you out in figuring out if your water could constitute a problem, you will find there are options with water.
I just e-mailed you our instructions for using EZ-100. They should be helpful.
As for Well Water - perhaps it may involve adjusting the PH slightly. Otherwise the only other problem would be a high concentration of iron present that may give your skins a light pinkish color.
From what you said about your water quality however - I dont think there should be a problem.
Not that 7.2 is going to hurt anything when you start dropping into the 1.5 to 2.0 range. Just have to start out a little higher to get lower. Our well is a steady 6.8. I haven't had any problems with the mentioned chemicals.
Like Bruce said, if you can bottle and drink it, then no worries mate!
Luck to ya!
