Deer feet will shrink very little when they are freeze dried. Thant is the reason for freeze drying. There is little tissue other than conective tissue in a deer foot. I have air dried them before and they don't shrink much.

Tony,
The reason I asked this is because i received my deer feet back from a taxidermist that said the reason they look smaller is because they shrink alot in the freeze dryer.I sent him 3 deer feet from a 240# deer(dressed out)waited 7 months and had him lye to me about other things, then I finally get them and they look like they came off a small deer.I have the 4th foot still that I didn't send ,not the same.
thanks again Jackie
