I have some old tanning chemicals I bought about 20 years ago. It is a green powder chemical and I purchased it at J.W. Elwood.Way back when I took the Northwestern School of Taxidermy course. I think it is a chrome tan but was wondering what the directions for use would be? Or is it unsafe for myself or the environment for disposal?

Check the pH first, neutralize if needed. Then call your city or county most have a waste chemical disposal unit.
