I have an buffalo hide that has already been tanned and is in my living room, and things have gotten spilled on it and I would like to know how to clean it. Does any one know how this can be done? If so would you please let me know!

Add some of your favorite soft soap to a bucket of warm water. Lay the robe out and shampoo it. Hose it off, hang it up to drip dry or toss it in your washing machine for a spin cycle. (If you have a wet/dry vaccuum, vaccuum it). Then blow dry and brush the hair until fluffy and dried. On the back side, take your favorite hand lotion that contains lanolin and pour it on the skin side. Rub it in all over the skin and let it soak in. (If you're putting the robe on a fabric upholstered sofa, let the lotion soak in for a week or so before putting it there.
