CALLING ARKANSAS TAXIDERMIST

Submitted by Thomas Mathis on 08/31/2003. ( thomasandlauri@ezclick.net ) 12.109.199.39

I am looking for a reliable tannery in Arkansas or surrounding area that can take care of fleshing and tanning my bobcats and deer hides till I am able to save up the money for a fleshing machine of my own. Please only suggest people or companies that you would or have sent your own work to, not ones you know of.

..That being a "taxidermist" requires some modicum of being able to accomplish a job by yourself? You might find it difficult to believe, but some of us are still alive who remember a time BEFORE fleshing machines and commercial tanneries. For that matter, before "snap on" taxidermy. There ARE alternatives and you'd better learn them now. What are you going to do if the tannery loses your hide or your fleshing machine, God forbid, broke down?
