i am tanning a bear and would like to know if i could use lutan f to tan it. if so would i use the same formula for a deer. the bear is about 5 feet tall and weighted about 200 pounds(black bear)any information would be helpful.

Yes, you could use Lutan F to tan the hide but most people would agree that bears belong at a commercial tannery. It is very difficult for the home tanner to rid these critters of all that grease. Well worth the $80-$100 to have the professionals handle them in my humble opinion.
