I would like to know if anyone has tanning formulas, and procedure that any of the major tanneries employ, that they would be willing to share.It would be interesting to know the formulations of some of the popular syntans and lutan etc. At one time I had a note book of accumulated information including the original pepi tan formulas among others and had it taken from the studio. I would greatly appreciate any information that anyone would be generous enough to share. I would also like to know how many others shave without guards on their rotary knife, as I have always done. Although I have been in the taxidermy industry for over 20 years, I have not been around the large tannery environment and I am trying to expand my knowledge in that direction. Feel free to email any information that you would be hesitant to post. Thanks in advance for any response.
