When using Kwik-n-Eze does the cape become "loose" after applying and then require some time to dry and soak in? I have a couple antelope that seem to be shedding an awful lot after I pickled in saftee, shaved, pickled, then applied kwikneze, sweated 4hrs then mounted . It has been 2 days , I have had a fan on them and I havent touched them but the hair still looks really volital right now . Any thoughts?

They appear to hold too much water and its slowly weakening the epidermis holding the hair roots. Take the mount down - sprinkle it with sawdust (a lot) - especially in the neck and throat areas - let it set for about an hour - then blow it off. This will accelerate the drying process and hopefully wick water away from the base of the hair roots. You should see a big improvement.
