I am a qualified leather technician who upto recently spent twenty years living in South Africa. I am originally from the UK. I have extensive experience of processing ostrich leather as well as being qualified and experienced in production and quality management. I am looking for a suitable position in a tannery preferably working with ostrich and/or crodile leathers. The position could be permanent or short/long term contract. I would be interested in considering most Countries but I am particularly interested in Countries with sunny climates and open spaces.

I have also produced a basic training manual for the processing of ostrich leather although I have not been successful so far in getting it published. It is regard as too specialised with little demand.

Anyone interested in contacting me can do so on my e-mail address. If anyone is simply interested in saying hello or wants some simple advice please feel free to contact me.

You know my friend!Back in 93 I made about $1,000 000 from live reproductive Ratites! Also caught the years before and the end of the Breeders Market!Had little or no investment in them and drove new Trucks and Corvettes Paid by cash!I pity the people who took Home Equity Loans to come here and give me $2300 each on wet Emu chicks fresh hatched out of the GQF.White Rhea chicks were $450 and you know I cry when I think of the price of South African Ostrich!?Thinking the market was great!I now owe $25,000 in credit card bills and no Job that has gratuities! If you can find a specific position tanning those skins or selling that healthy meat!We should get together an ponder the time the sun shines as we try to sell snow to the eskimo or?
