A friend brought me a red fox that he found on the side of road. Time out side is possibly around 12hrs in cool weather. I skinned it out and have it tanning in Krow 2000. I'm losing some hair on the tail. Not a lot but some. After I take it out of the tan is there something I could do or is it to late due to the time period? Thanks

If you didn't split the tail you need to run some cotton twine or rope through the tail and out a slit in the tip. This acts as a wick to get the Krowtann into the skin side. I use old shoe laces with great sucess. Good luck.
ive had questionable skins that were placed in krowtann and it seemed to lock the hair up real good, if ur loosing hair while its in there u may have problems.
with the skin or tanning?
