Is there any place online or not that sells used or refurbished fleshers? Someone that maybe gives a guarentee or something with the machine.

The sheeves are seldom if ever going to need replaced. The drive belt is a $8.00 item, the bearings are $4.95 each.
The gaurds are going to last many many years, I have yet to see a pair wear out!
Most electric motors can be upgraded to a higher Horse power for $100.00 recommended if you are doing lots of Bison or Bovine hides, but not needed for elk, moose or deer.
The blade will need replacing more do your inexperience in sharpening than wear.
MOst of the for sale machine are about half price and may be ready to give you years of use. The used machines I have owned, only needed a bit of touchup on the blade and was ready to go.
