I sometimes take in Cowhides for local customers. Usually they are rough fleshed (if I'm lucky) - so I normally end up having to flesh them out, salt, and dry them before shipment to a Tannery. To me they are too big and heavy to lug around my small shop - so I prefer sending them out now.

The problem is - because they are so large and usually thickly fleshed - they dry slowly - so I spray them lightly with a mixture of the PS-650 Bacteriacide/Fungicide and Water every 3-4 days to prevent any bacterial growth as they dry. This method has always worked for me.

Thank You
