Usage of Wisk

I searched the archives on this one and guess what? No relevant hits as I'm not working on anything with horns.

How do I use Wisk to remove blood or iron stains from the fur of very small, white haired mammals?

I am using Blood X in the rehydration bath and I expect it to work about 75% - as usual. The remaining 25% I would also like to remove of course, as I would like these little guys to come out with very good fur color (and no ugly dark orange blood stains).

BTW Eop-Grip disappointed me totally. It does not remove nearly the amount of blood and debris from fur that I thought it would. I used it according to manufacturer directions.

So do I use Wisk as a sort of rub-in, rinse-off, after-pickling thing? Or should I soak the skins for 30 min. right after rehydrating - before pickling? How would YOU use it? I would like the iron stains and blood OUT of this fur.
