How much Tannit VGS is enough?

Hi Ya'll,

Yep, I did check the search button first, but nada. I got this bottle of Tannit VGS and plan to try some of it in my acid bath. How much do I put in per gallon water? There's no instructions with this bottle.

In the catalog, it says to use.... 1/2 to 1 oz. per gallon or 1.5 - 2% hide weight.
