I have a couple of capes to tan,and my shop is not heated. If I can maintain the water tempature at 45 degree f. will the saftee acid for pickling and lutan F for tanning, will these solutions work at this tempature?

Keep it a bit higher!

55 degrees Fahrenhiet is really the lowest you should keep it. Temperature-wise! Lower - the salt may fall out of solution and at 43 degrees the Saftee Acid may crystallize. 45 degrees is very close to the 43 degrees. Normally keeping your solutions is best between 65-85 degrees Fahrenhiet.

thank Guys

Thanks for the advice , I was just wondering why you say to use eze 100 over lutan, does it work better? Or is it just a personal preferance?
