What do you think of the pretan 110 from Knoblochs? Is it better than a formic acid pickle before using liqua tan? From what I understand a cape only needs to be in the pretan 110 for 5-12 hours whereas the acid pickle needs to be much longer and the ph needs to be checked often.
I think the pertan 110 would be a great timesaver, but are there any other advantages OR disadvantages?

Sure you do not have to neutralize, you will gain excellent stretch and softness. No need to check ph. This product has the same effect on the skin as acid but with out the low Ph, Downside its a 12 hour pickle. We have not run skins in it any longer, and have not needed to. We will have to test it like that.
