I have salted some capes and I cant seem to get them to dry. I live in East Texas. My shop doesnt have heat. should I put some type of heat in the building to get them to dry out. They were nearly dry and we received some rain and the humidity went up. They have gotten moist again. Will these capes be ok? I put some more salt on them.
Thanks for all your help in advance.P.S. what is the best tan for a beginner to use. I bought a used fleshing wheel and want to tan my own capes.

Heat will increase the humidity. Put a fan on them or run an Air Conditioner. Cold air is dry air. The a/c works by removing the moisture from the air, the cold coils remove the water.
