Ive been having great fun being guided through my first attemp at brain tanning w/ fur on,by all of you taxi pros.

My question is,if bacteria is a major cause of hair slippage,then why after i brain tan a hide,doesnt the hair slip from introducing raw matter to my pickled an nuetralized hide.It seems that bacteria would run rampant in the warm temp.
What do u guys think?
