Has anyone used Krowtann on Buffalo?

OK I tried the Search thing and didn't find what I wanted to know. I've used Krowtann on Elk, Deer, Boar, Coyote, Bobcat, Fox and Badger, with excellent results, however I have a Buffalo that I want to do and was wondering if anyone has tried to do a Buffalo with Krowtann and what your results were. Also maybe the quantities that you may of used for a large bull cape.

And the reason for this question is?

Scott, I apologize in advance for being a smart ass, but for the last couple of months, I've seen Krotann touted for everything from cat's asses to rocket fuel. If the stuff is good enough to do all you said you've done with it, why would a buffalo be any different? This product is beginning to look like a fleshing machine that kept showing up on the site on a regular basis.

Toss some Krowtann on him and watch him go. Better than turpentine.

If you want to Alum tan it! By all means do it! That product will probably do a good job on your skin - but unless you shave it thinner - don't expect anything less than a skin thats tawwed but hard! No matter how you treat or tan it - unless you have some way to thin it - abiet shaving or some other way - it will turn out hard and stiff! The flesh on Bison is thick and must be shaved if you expect a soft pliable skin!
