Professional tan

If I send of a cape to a tannery, what do have to do to it when I get it back before mounting. I know you have to do some final thinning on the face but is there anything else. I've always used Spray tan and never have had a cape professionally tanned.

I get all my capes and hides wet tanned and all thats necessary is the final thinning on the face and a little streching to get the neck width back.

not much to do:

I cant speak for other tanneries but in the case of the Wildlife Gallery when we get done shaving a cape it is quite thin and does not require alot of extra work. We leave the incision a little heavy for strength. The face may require a bit of thinning other than that not much at all. Feel free to contact me if you have more questions. ph. 989-561-5369. Brian
