Just trying to get this straight... I want to use krowtann on the opossum, and I'm wondering if I will need to shave down the flesh side of the skin (before or after). Also, if I am tanning the skin, do I need to split and turn the ears? Thanks

are you goint to mount it?if yes ,yeah you need to split,the ears are fairly thin so you may not need to do so.as far as shaving goes,posssums are very thin skinned so i imagine if you try to shave it,you might hit the hair roots.
