How hard does a hide get after oiling. I have my hide in my basement witch is about 58 degres. Should i move it to warmer temp like 70 degres.this is the secound day and it seems like its not drying. Thanks for the help

I would move it someplace warmer but away from direct heat. basements are a little too cool and also very damp. if it is in the right environment it should dry out in 3-4 days
