When the temp drops below 54 degrees the salt will fall out of the solution.
I have found I have the best tans, by keeping the tan at those temps above.
You should keep your tanning vat above 68 degrees, simple because the hide
absorbs the tan better. Lower than this temperature and it doesn't absorb
the tan as well, which means that you may have to lengthen tanning time to
achieve a better tan. It doesn't have anything to do with salt.
