Have been having excellent results in using oxalic acid with my deer capes.What I want to know is, after nuetralizing the acid bath,letting my hide drip dry and then applying the tanning cream to the cape,could I proceed and mount my deer head right away or should I still roll the cape up and leave overnite before mounting?reason I am asking is I still end up with a little shrinkage plus a cape that does not stretch very much so does not give me much room for any error!
