I purchased some deer tails that have been salted. They are dirty and full of salt. How do I clean and wash these to brighten the white up and get rid of the strong oder they have. These are split tails and very brittle

You dont need the hide just the hair.
1. Soak the tails overnight in clear water.
2. wash the tails in laundry detergent tide, gain, whatever you got.
3. Pull the hair out of the tail
4. start tyin or put the hair in you box for later its that simple.
