Good afternoon, I have just oiled my two tanned beaver skins and am not entirely sure if I should now be stretching to shape them into the round for the rug, or after I let them sweat should I throw them into the tumbler(dryer. If I put them into the tumbler without stretching, will they shink up into little hides?
Also, Do I wash the skins after they have been oiled or just towel off any excess oil?
Any good advise would be greatly appreciated.
