How do you neutralize a skin after it is in the tanning solution? Im new to tanning myself, I have always sent them to a tanner in California but i am wanting a tan for small mammals.

You salt dry, rehydrate, pickle, neutralize and then tan.

You will need to add dissolved baking soda to the solution until you reach a ph of 5.0. in the Skin. Make sure you agitate the skins in the solution after you add them back into the bath. I take it that they are tanned and you need to finish them at the end of the tan.
Otherwise you can basify them rinse and drain well then apply Liqua Tan.
