I used Saftee Acid for the first time and lost my cape to hair slippage. I used citirc acid before but am always willing to try different methods. What went wrong?

What steps did you take prior to the pickle bath? I'd say thats the key problem. Hit the Orange Button <<<<<< YUP that one over there<<< and TYPE in Hair slippage and Saftee Acid Plenty there to read.

If used properly it wasn't the saftee acid.....

that caused your slippage problems. We have used it exclusively for over a year now and have had no problems at all. We have used saftee acid on weasel to black bear and found it to be a safe, cost efficient, and totally capable product interms of getting the job done. If you had slippage and you followed all the tanning instructions to the letter then the problem was in the cape before it even started the tanning process.

I've used safety acid for a few years now. It works great. Monitor your ph closely. I sometimes add a little more after a few days in the pickle...Steve
